Suenram & Associates, Inc. was formed by Kate Suenram, PE. Splitting her professional experience between Northern and Southern California, Kate started her career in site development, working on residential and commercial developments, and intermodal transit station projects. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2011, she has had the fortune of supporting a variety of LA-based high-profile infrastructure projects with values ranging from $100M to $2B. 

 

Kate leads with a sense of self and community. Growing up in what many refer to as the "Big Sky State" of Montana, she was one of three females in her graduating class at Montana State University, where she earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Her experiences have led her to value the importance of helping today's rising female youth gain exposure and confidence in STEM disciplines by participating in activities such as Los Angeles' chapter of the Bridge Builders Foundation Saturday Science Academy and the Girl’s Academic Leadership Academy of Los Angeles’ SPARK LA initiative.

 

Grateful for the opportunities and challenges presented to her thus far, Kate looks forward to supporting the reform of Los Angeles’ transportation landscape and growing the next generation of talented engineering professionals as she leads Suenram & Associates, Inc. in the next chapter of her career.
